Finally we had the ghostless weekend!
Last weekend my husband and I went exploring in the neighborhood dressed like pirates. We were looking to scare the ghosts in the neighborhood. We started our search by visiting one of the local restaurant ‘Monsoon’, we enjoyed our dinner there. After that yummy and satisfying dinner we started towards the residential area. Our thought was that ghosts could be found in the darker rather than lively market area. We were wrong or we were delusional. We saw no ghosts, no rats and no cats.
What we saw are dogs
There were dogs that didn’t liked our getup, become suspicious and chased us down the road. I ran very fast to stay ahead of the dogs that was the fastest as I ever could. I even beat my husband by a millimeter too. I am so proud of my running.
Self discovery
When I ran that fast to save my life I realized that I am running. So, the question for me is what I do with this discovery. I am going to start running! Yes, you read it right I am going to run marathons. The ghostless weekend turned into the resolution for running marathons.
Formulating plans
I am starting next weekend, to train for running. I am reading blogs and articles on the running training. It looks like that I have to start by investing in a good pair of running shoes. My training from working at REI will come handy now, also I can use help from experts at REI. Then, my first leg of training would be learning some stretches and running in the neighborhood. Stay tuned for more to come on my training here.
The ghostless weekend turned into a start of running for me, what a discovery!
